I suspect that my camera is my journal; the shutter snap my pen to paper.  You'll find the by-product on this site: reflections, texture, landscape, solitary walks through my town after dark.  I grew up in a rural New Hampshire (as evidenced below), the daughter of a recreational farmer and a textile designer.  As such, I gravitate towards landscape and patterns and hold a nostalgia for childhood that I’ve yet to shake.  I don’t think you need to travel far or work with extraordinary equipment to develop a satisfying image – often what I want to photograph is right in front of me,  simple as a journal entry.
